Versatility: You can find a great variety of uses for a steel building. You may need a separate workshop. Perhaps you need a place to house a tractor or other farm equipment. The kids might need an area to play music. Steel building will work well for those purposes

Outside design: Many steel buildings can look like other types of buildings. You can apply various materials for colors and textures. They can resemble wood, also.

Tax savings: Your steel building may qualify as energy efficient. This could give you a tax savings.

Resists damage: Water will not soak into steel buildings. Water damage of this kind cannot happen. Once wet, they dry off quickly. Insects will not eat steel. If you live where termites are a problem, this is a good feature. Fungus does not like to grow on steel.

Disadvantages

Steel will absorb heat at a rapid rate. As a result, it will also dissipate quickly. In colder climates, this can be a disadvantage. You will need some special equipment to build a steel building.
